Course Description:
This course is designed to build a solid evasive driving foundation. Upon graduating students will have developed the driving skills necessary to evade and outmaneuver potential threats. This class covers the following topics:
- Vehicle Dynamics
- Proper Steering, Acceleration, and Braking
- Straight Line Braking (ABS/Threshold)
- Braking into a Curve
- Obstacle Avoidance
- Off-Road Recovery
- Reading and Negotiating the Road
- Passenger-side Driving
- Reverse and Forward 180s
- Driving in Reverse
- PIT/Counter PIT
- Defeating Terrorist/Criminal Tactics (Car Fighting)
- Ramming and Barricade Breaching
- Counter Ambush Tactics Scenario-Based Training
